Deposit and Final Payment

In order to reserve a Contiki tour, a non-refundable deposit of $100-200, per person, is required at the time of booking. The balance of the total tour price must be paid no later then 45 days prior to the tour departure date.

Australia/New Zealand, USA/Canada, Europe (November-February departures) $100 per person 45 days prior to departure
Europe (March-October departures) $200 per person 45 days prior to departure

If a reservation is made after the final payment due date, the entire price of the trip must be paid at the time of confirmation. Tickets and other documents will not be available until final payment is received.

Contiki accepts MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.

If final payment is not made 45 days prior to departure, Contiki will assume the tour is cancelled.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary, with penalties increasing as the departure date approaches. If a cancellation occurs, Contiki will assess the following penalties:

45-22 days prior to departure 25% of tour cost
21-8 days prior to departure 30% of tour cost
7-1 days prior to departure 50% of tour cost
Day of departure No refund

If the passenger fails to join a tour, joins it after its departure, or leaves it prior to its completion, no refund can be made. If a change is made to a reservation after the booking has been confirmed, Contiki will assess a transfer fee of $25 per person, plus any additional costs of the new tour.

Timetables and rates are subject to change, and exceptions may apply for holiday departures; please confirm payment and cancellation policies with your Vacations To Go travel counselor at time of booking. Deposit, payment and cancellation terms may differ for group bookings.
